Apple has just done something unimaginable. It has launched its first ever official battery case for iPhone 6S. That’s like Apple has admitted its phones have bad battery life. Now you know why Apple chose to reduce the battery size in the latest iPhone, so you would buy their new case (*find the pun*).
The Apple battery case for iPhone doesn’t come cheap, just like any other Apple product. But Apple users wouldn’t mind anyway, right? It costs *just* $99. Apart from being costly, it also looks ugly and makes your iPhone look ugly, and bulky as well. It has a significant bump on the back. Thankfully, it has impressive endurance, at least on paper. Apple claims it gives 18 hours talk time on LTE and full 20 hours of video playback. It’s a one-piece case and iPhone just slips inside it. You can use your existing Lightning cable that came with your iPhone.
At the moment, the battery case is available only for iPhone 6/6S. I can’t imagine how ugly and bulky the Plus versions would look if Apple decides to make a similar case for them.
