Google Announces Nexus 10 Tablet

Many times ‘one size fits ’em all’ rule doesn’t really fit ’em all and Google’s Nexus 7 tablet isn’t an exception. So for those craving for the Nexus goodness but with larger screen Google has brought Samsung Nexus 10 tablet, elder brother for Nexus 7 tablet. Like other Nexus devices announced today, Nexus 10 was also leaked repeatedly and there’s almost nothing that we don’t know about the device. The Nexus 10 is build around the Cortex A15-based Samsung Exynos 5250 CPU at 1.7 GHz , Mali T604 GPU, and, 2GB of RAM. It boasts the 2560-by-1600 (300ppi) display. It also has MIMO WiFi, which claims to be 4x better than regular Wi-Fi. There are stereo speakers as well on the front. Nexus 10 has 5MP camera on rear side and 1.9 MP on front. The device is incredibly thin and lightweight, just 8.9 mm thin and weighs just 603 gms. It’ll run on Android 4.2 JellyBean.

It’ll be available in 16 GB and 32 GB variants. 16GB will cost $399 while 32GB cost $499. It’ll be available on 11/13 in the Google Play Store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan. You’ll also be able to purchase the 32GB version in over 2,000 Walmart stores in the U.S.
