Just few hours before before Google’s October 4 event where the company expected a fresh lineup of phones. It’s now (almost) confirmed that the two phones will be known as Google Pixel and Pixel XL. While there has been continuous flow of leaks surround Google’s new phones, the product pages on Carphone Warehouse confirm the existence.
Looks like someone at CPW jumped the guns and made the product pages live earlier today for Google Pixel and Pixel XL. Since then the pages have been taken down. However, they were alive for enough time to give us complete info about the upcoming phones.
Both the phones feature thick bezels and fingerprint sensors on the back. That’s very much similar to HTC’s recent phones like A9 and Desire 10. The CWP listing also reveals complete specifications of both the phones. The Google Pixel and Pixel XL will feature Snapdragon 821 processor and will come in two storage variants, 32GB and 128GB with microSD expansion. The regular Pixel will have a FullHD AMOLED display and a 2,770 mAh battery. The Pixel XL, however, will have a 5.5 inch QHD display and a 3,450 mAh battery.
Both the Google phones will have the same camera setup, 12Mp rear and 8Mp front. The phones will probably be offered in Black and White colors. They will also run Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box. We will know everything about new Google’s phone in tomorrow’s event.
