Now that Google has outed its latest Android Lollipop update, everybody is wondering if their phone will be getting the update. Motorola became the first OEM to detail its upgrade plans. Today, HTC, which made the latest Nexsus 9, joined the list. If the carefully worded tweet by the company’s Twitter account is to believed, the company will update its flagship handsets within 90 days after receiving Android Lollipop from Google. At this point of time there are no details about which handsets will be included in the first phase but HTC One (M8) and probably M7 too, will be getting to lick the Lollipop first.

Again, HTC has carefully said it ‘aims’ to provide update in 90 days. So the time frame may or may not get expanded. But at least it is going to update its handsets and that alone is a good news. HTC has promised to provide more updates later. Stay tuned with us. We will pass the info to you as soon as we hear from them.
