HTC on 30th August announced their new smartphone, Desire X at IFA, Berlin. The new Desire X is a new affordable budget Android phone from HTC.
The design of the Desire X follows the new trend started by the One series. On spec sheet, it has dual core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and 768 MB RAM. It sports a 4″ LCD (WVGA) and runs Android 4.0 IceCream Sandwich with Sense 4.0. The Desire X also has 5 MP AF cam (f/2.0) which is boosted by BIS sensor for low light photography. Desire X, like One series, also features the VideoPic ability to capture photos while simultaneously recording videos. It has 4GB of internal memory and supports memory cards upto 32GB for memory expansion and it’ll also give users 25GB of Dropbox space. It also boasts Beats Audio.
HTC Desire X will be available in selected markets across EMEA and Asia Pacific from September 2012. There’s no info about it’s pricing as of now.
