HTC Desire 501 is another mid-end handset that was launched today. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Desire 501 has rather very low specifications out of all. But design wise it’s quite a looker.
Desire 501 runs on a dual core processor clocked at 1.15 GHz which is very strange and sort of disappointing given that there are plenty of handsets both by domestic and international players that offer better specs. The processor is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. It has 4.3 inch SLCD 2 display with WVGA resolution.
There’s 8MP camera with BSI sensor, f/2.0 and 28mm lens. Camera can record videos in 720p HD resolution max. There’s 2.1 MP front camera as well.
Desire 501 is a dual SIM handset and it supports both 2G and 3G networks with 3G supported only on first SIM card. Apart from regular Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi, it also features NFC. It will have 8GB of internal memory with memory card slot for expansion. The 2100 mAh battery provides the juice for Desire 501.
Desire 501 dual SIM will run on Android 4.1 and Sense 4.0+. Desire 501 will be available at Rs.16,890 throughout the country.
