In their continuous efforts to expand the One family, HTC has announced their phablet named HTC One Max. With One Max, HTC has tried to go as high as they can while the lower end is being taken care by One Mini. The phablet which was announced, was making appearance in rumors for quite some time now.
Like the original ‘One’, One Max also features unibody metal construction. The phablet has 5.9 inch display with Full HD (1080p) resolution. Apart from bumped up screen size, One Max is the first HTC phone to feature fingerprint scanner on its back. While many newcomers are already using Snapdragon 800, HTC has preferred to use the Snapdragon 600 from the original One which is clocked at 1.7 GHz. There’s 2GB RAM present as well to provide enough room for your tasks. One Max also carries Boomsound sans Beats Audio and Ultrapixel camera sans OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). This powerhouse draws its juice from the 3300 mAh battery. HTC has also provided microSD slot for memory expansion while there will be two variants, 16GB and 32GB available.
With HTC One Max debuts the latest version of Sense UI 5.5. There are no details about the new features of the Sense UI 5.5. It has Blinkfeed, Zoe (for gallery and camera) and all the features which original HTC One featured in terms of software. HTC One Max will hit the shelves somewhere around the end of October. There’s no word on the pricing yet.
