Little did we know that HTC is going to announce the HTC One Mini just after we reported the company teasing for tomorrow’s launch. Perhaps, we reported it late but it’s finally here. HTC has announced the ‘Mini’ version of their hot selling flagship HTC One as HTC One Mini. The HTC One Mini inherits many of its elder sibling’s features. It sports the same unibody aluminum construction as the original HTC One with BoomSound frontal stereo speakers and Beats Audio. There’s 4MP UltraPixel camera present as well but this time around HTC has decided to drop OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The camera sensor is the same 1/3″ BSI sensor found on the original One. It’s able to record FullHD (1080p) videos at 30fps with support for HDR video recording. On the front there’s 1.6MP BSI sensor with 720p video recording ability.
One Mini, unlike One, is powered by Snapdragon 400 dual core 1.4 GHz processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. There’s 16GB internal memory on board but no support for extension. It comes with 720p HD LCD screen with 341 ppi density. HTC One Mini also features Sense 5 with BlinkFeed and Zoe. It features 1800 mAh battery. One Mini will be available in Glacial Silver and Stealth Black. HTC One Mini will be rolled in select markets first in August and then will be made available globally from September.
