HTC has just added yet another smartphone to its kitty. This one is in different attire and gets a different branding, too. This one goes to China exclusively. It’s front apparently borrows its looks from HTC’s Butterfly series. The back, however, looks strikingly similar to that of Nexus 6P. The HTC One X9 has unibody aluminum chassis.
It has MediaTek’s X10 Halio chipset at its heart with 3GB RAM, which is same as HTC One M9 Plus. Since this is going to be a budget device, HTC has opted to use a 5.5 inch FullHD display for X9. The camera is rather an interesting affair with 13MP sensor with OIS and being capable of shooting UltraHD 4K videos. The physical, backlit navigation keys have returned with the HTC One X9.
At 2,999 yuan or ~$370, HTC One X9 is going to be HTC’s budget offering in the Chinese market. There’s no mention if it will be coming to international markets or not.
