HTC U11 Launched In India With ‘Sensible’ Price Tag

After a long time, HTC’s flagship has created a buzz in the market and made everyone eager about its arrival. The HTC U11 enjoys the more or less the hype as that of Samsung’s Galaxy S8. The phone has gone on sale in India and company has got the pricing bang on right.

HTC has always been at the mouth of guns for ridiculously pricing its flagships. The company has taken the criticism in a positive way and has fixed what it needed to do most to sell its flagship. The HTC U11 is priced just very well for what it offers. At Rs.51,990 (~US $808), it is considerably cheaper than Samsung’s both flagships and just a bit pricier than Galaxy S7.

The HTC U11 has the design that clearly underlines the expertise of its maker in industrial design. That highly reflective back is worth falling for. The real magic (or gimmick) is in its design or edges to be specific. You can squeeze the HTC U11 to perform different actions. Oh, and it’s even IP67 rated making it dust and water resistant.

All these aesthetics come coupled with flagship grade hardware. There’s Snapdragon 835 with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded with a microSD card. The 12MP camera of HTC U11 is currently the highest rated with DxOMark 90 score. Its 5.5-inch display boasts 2K HD resolution.

The HTC U11 is already up for pre-orders and gets you a flip cover worth Rs.1,999. From 26th June for a limited time, buyers can also avail 10% cashback if they purchase the HTC U11 with Standard Chartered credit or debit card. It will be on shelves in brick and mortar stores from the last week June and can also be bought online from Amazon India.
