HTC U11 was already a visually stunning device and the new HTC U11+ makes it even better in the plus sized form. The HTC U11+ as the name suggests, is a bigger sibling.
The HTC U11+ is only marginally bigger in dimensions. It now packs a bigger 6 inch display that uses 18:9 ratio. It retains everything we already have on the original HTC U11 except the battery, which is now rated at 3,930 mAh. A welcome improvement indeed. The HTC U11+ has the same translucent design, squeeze sensitive edges that activate different functions in the phone. It is also IP68 rated which makes it resistant to dust and water.
There isn’t any difference in the internals. HTC U11+ still has the same Snapdragon 835 SoC which is anyway the latest on production phones. It comes in two RAM/storage variants, 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. There’s 12MP UltraPixel 3 camera on the rear and 8MP front camera. The 4K video recording is assisted by OIS and EIS along with Acoustic Focus with 360° sound recording.
The HTC U11+ will cost Rs.56,990 (~US $889) and be available through Flipkart from 7th Feb onwards.
