Huawei has launched their latest Android flagship, Ascend D2 at Las Vegas CES 2013. Ascned D2 runs Huawei’s own K3V2 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU. Ascend D2 features 5 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS+ Super Retina display with PPI count of 443 which ensures smooth and clear images. It also has a 13 MP BSI camera. The Ascned D2 packs a massive 3000 mAh battery which is further enhanced by Huawei’s Quick Power Control (QPC) and Automated Discontinuous Reception (ADRX) battery efficiency technology, to provide six days of standby time on WCDMA(3G).

The HUAWEI Ascend D2 has a stylish and elegant design with an aluminum body and metal frame. Ascend D2 weighs just 170g and is just 9.9mm thick. If that’s not all, Ascend D2 is IPX 5/4 certified which make it water and dust resistant while the display is protected by Gorilla Glass. The Ascend D2 also supports Dolby® surrounding sound and stereo recording.

Huawei Ascend D2 will come pre-installed with Android 4.1 JellyBean. Available in pure white and crystal blue, the HUAWEI Ascend D2 will also be produced in a 4.7-inch screen version. The HUAWEI Ascend D2 will be on sale in China in January 2013, and in Japan in the future.
