Jolla always had plans to come to Indian market. The smartphone built by the Finnish company has finally debuted in the Indian market. Jolla launched its smartphone, simply called Jolla today in partnership with India’s one of the leading e-store, Snapdeal.

Initially, there were concerns regarding its Indian pricing as the it was priced higher at EUR 349 in European countries. But Jolla has played it smart by making it available for merely EUR 210 (INR 16,499). Spec wise Jolla might not excite you much but its power is in the Sailfish OS which it runs. There isn’t a single physical button on the phone for operations. Everything is taken care by the touch gestures. You don’t need to worry about apps also as it runs Android apps too.

It otherwise is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM. There’s 4.5 inch display with qHD resolution, a 8MP AF camera with flash and 2MP front facing camera. Jolla is also fully customizable through its ‘Other Half’ covers. It has 16GB inbuilt memory and microSD slot. Connectivity is not an issue either with 2G/3G, Bluetooth, NFC etc.
