Jolla’s tablet is now just a step away from becoming a reality. The company has put its tablet up for pre-orders which is a sign that company is determined launch new products. Let me remind you, it’s the first crowdfunded tablet.
Unlike its phone which had outdated hardware, Jolla’s tablet uses the hardware that’s on par with its competitors. It uses Intel’s Z3735F 1.2GHz, 64 bit quad-core processor. There will be 2GB RAM as well. It will come in 32/64GB memory variants. Jolla’s tablet has a 7.85 inch fully laminated display with 2048 x 1536, 330 ppi. Tablets ain’t really for taking photos (but people actually use tablets for taking photos in events and its annoying), but Jolla’s tablet has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It will come packed with a 4450 mAh battery. It will run on Jolla’s Sailfish OS 2.0.
Jolla’s tablet will be available in limited quantities. It will be available to the ones interested in all EU countries, Norway, Switzerland, United States, Canada, Australia, India, Hong Kong and Russia. Both the variants will be priced roughly at $303 (267 €) and $340 (299 €). It will be available in limited quantities. Shipments for Indiegogo backers will start next month while pre-orders will start shipping in October.
