Lenovo has launched its new tablet offering, A7-50, a 7 inch tablet. This tablet particularly features an IPS display with wide viewing angles and hence the name. There would be two variants of the tablet, WiFi and WiFi+3G. The WiFi variant of A7-50 tablet is powered by a MediaTek 8121 SoC while the 3G variant uses 8382 SoC. Both feature a 1.3GHz quad core processor. It features 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory with microSD card support up to 32GB.
Lenovo A7-50 comes with a 3450 mAh battery and according to company it’d last for eight hours of usage. It’s not specified if its for WiFi or 3G model. It also has a 5MP camera on rear and a 2MP camera on front. 3G model features a regular sized SIM card slot and is compatible with both 2G and 3G networks. It runs on Android JellyBean 4.2 out of the box but Lenovo has plans to update it to Android KitKat 4.4 in the future. Lenovo A7-50 will be available in midnight blue color.
