Here comes the Lenovo K8 Note, the latest in Lenovo’s K series of phones. It succeeds the K6 Note that came before it and only Lenovo knows why it skipped on number 7 here. It is also first Lenovo branded phone to feature dual cameras.
Let’s talk business here withouth beating around the bush. The Lenovo K8 Note has its power coming from MediaTek Helio X23 deca-core or 10 cores (in layman’s term) processor. You get to choose from 4GB/64GB or 3G/32GB configurations. There is a 5.5 inch FHD (1080p) display. The best thing about Lenovo K8 Note is that along with dual SIM slots you also get a dedicated microSD slot which is a rarity now. It can host cards upto 128GB.
The dual camera setup has a primary 13MP sensor and a secodary 5MP sensor. The Lenovo K8 Note uses the secondary sensor to add depth of field or bokeh effect (like DSLRs) to your photos. There’s a 13MP selfie camera with flash.
As is the case of most Lenovo phones, this one too has Dolby Atmos integrated. Additionally, there’s now a dedicated music key which can be used to launch music player. It has a strong 4,000 mAh battery to provide the juice. All this is wrapped inside aluminum unibody.
As reported earlier, the Lenovo K8 Note will indeed run stock Android 7.1.1 out of the box. And while the phone was launched today, it will be available only during the sale on August 18 on Amazon India exclusively. The 3GB/32GB will cost Rs.12,999 and the 4GB/64GB will come for Rs.13,999.
