Lenovo India has launched the S850, addition to the company’s S-series of premium handsets. Lenovo S850 was announced at MWC2014, earlier this year. Lenovo’s S-series handsets are well known for their premium build. Lenovo S850 is the only handset in the segment to feature all glass exteriors. It’s only 8.2mm thick and weighs 140gms. It features an illuminating logo on the back for notifications.
Lenovo S850 is powered by a MediaTek 6582 1.3GHz quad-core processor and has 1GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage. It features a 5 inch HD (720p) display. For photography, it features a 13MP AF camera with LED flash and has a 5MP front facing camera. Lenovo S850 is also dual SIM capable. Usual connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 are obviously present. It has 2000 mAh non-removable battery. Lenovo S850 will run on the Android KitKat 4.4.2 out of the box.
Lenovo S850 will be sold in India at Rs.15,499 and will come with a snap stand case. You can also pre-order it directly from Lenovo’s Do Store at Rs.15,299. It’ll start shipping from 30th July. This handset is going to face a strong competition from likes of Moto G, Xioami Mi3 and Xiaomi Mi3 is offering flagship features for the same price tag.
