Lenovo Vibe Shot, company’s first ever smartphone to focus on the camera has been launched in India. For those who don’t remember, Vibe Shot was announced earlier this year during and had us excited since then.
Vibe Shot has a 16MP camera with a tri-color LED flash setup. There’s laser auto-focus and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) to assist the camera. There’s a dedicated shutter button, too! The rest of the hardware includes a Snapdragon 615 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and a 5 inch FullHD display.
Vibe Shot comes with 4G and dual SIM slots with support for Indian bands. There’s 32GB memory inbuilt, but you can fit in microSD cards up to 128GB if you need more.
Although it focuses on camera, Lenovo Vibe Shot lacks advance features such as UltraHD video recording. It is priced higher than what many of us expected. At $387 (INR 25,499), it is asking a lot more than it deserves. Without bells and whistles to make it a proper camera flagship, Vibe Shot will have a hard time finding buyers.
