Looks like Lenovo’s on the roll. Why you ask? After launching the VR equipped K4 Note barely 20 days ago, Lenovo’s launching the flagship Vibe X3 in India, successor to the Vibe X2. And looking at the specs vs. price, it’s an irresistible deal for the buyers.
Let’s cut the crap and get straight to the specsheet. The Vibe X3 sports the Snapdragon 808 and 3GB RAM. There’s a 5.5 inch display with 1080p FullHD resolution. As per my knowledge, there’s no phone in this segment that offers higher resolution like 2K QuadHD so the Vibe X3 won’t be guilty of anything. Lenovo’s flagship also has a 21MP camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front camera. Needless to say, the camera has full manual control as well as 4K UltraHD recording. Lenovo has also thrown in fingerprint scanner which sits at the back.
Lenovo has worked on the multi-media aspect, too. The Lenovo Vibe X3 has front firing, stereo 1.5W (2×1.5W) speakers. It also boasts 3 mic array and an amplifier with Wolfson codec. Lenovo Vibe X3 also has the TheatreMax VR tech but, you will need to get the special VR headsets to enjoy it. So those looking for a phone with entertainment on the go won’t be disappointed.
While the Vibe X3 does have dual SIM slots, it’s a hybrid setup which means secondary slot can be used as microSD slot. That’s a disadvantage. Its battery stands at impressive 3,500 mAh. The whole configuration is as good as Moto X Style and cheaper by whole Rs.10,000 (~$146) as the Vibe X3 is priced at Rs.20,000 (~$293). You will get just one color and that is matte white. I’m not a fan of it. If marketed right it can even upset the the likes of OnePlus 2 and Honor 7.
