LG G3 Beat Hits India, To Cost Rs.25,000


LG India has announced the its G3 Beat smartphone for the market here. LG G3 Beat is more like a “mini” version of the flagship G3, at least in the design. G3 Beat, however, has trimmed down spec sheet. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM. G3 Beat picks up 5 inch HD (720p) IPS LCD display unlike QHD display on LG G3. Camera only features 8MP sensor but thankfully, LG G3 Beat still has the laser auto-focus, first seen on the flagship G3.

LG G3 Beat is equipped with regular connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth and has NFC too. It also features 4G LTE connectivity. There is 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for expansion. It features a 2,540 mAh battery which is also user replaceable. LG G3 Beat runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 and the LG’s custom UI.

LG G3 Beat is priced at Rs.25,000 (~$410) but the street price will be lower. It’ll be available in Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold colors.
