Nokia yesterday announced their yet another cheap Windows Phone, Lumia 620. Unlike its younger brother Lumia 610, it has some good specs and runs on Windows Phone 8. Lumia 620 boasts 3.8″ WVGA screen with ClearBack technology. Lumia 620 has dual core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1 GHz and coupled with 512 MB RAM. Lumia 620 has 8GB of internal memory and supports microSD cards upto 32GB. It also has 5 MP auto-focus camera with LED flash. On connectivity front it has Wi-Fi,Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, A-GPS and GLONASS too.
Nokia has used newly developed ‘Dual Shot’ technology for Lumia 620 where two layers of polycarbonate are casted together. The addition of second transparent or translucent layer produces depth effects and secondary colour blends. For example, yellow and cyan are combined to produce an exciting new lime green. Lumia 620 supports exchangable shells too.
The Nokia Lumia 620 will be available in a range of colors including, lime green, orange, magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black. Excluding any local taxes or operator subsidies, the Nokia Lumia 620 will cost around $249 USD and will be available from Q1 2013.
