Micromax Announces Dual Boot LapTab At CES2014

The leading Indian manufacturer Micromax has achieved another feat this year. It has started the new year with very strong and good note. Did we forget to tell you that the company is at CES 2014 happening in Las Vegas? Yes, it is.

Micromax has become a first Indian manufacturer to launch an Android and Windows 8 dual boot tablet with the announcement of LapTab. This tab puts the convenience of Android and productivity of Windows 8 inside one single device. The LapTab is powered by Intel’s 1.4 GHz Celeron N2805 (Bay Trail-M) processor and has 2GB of RAM. It has 10.1 inch IPS display with 1280×800 resolution. The Micromax LapTab has 7400 mAh battery as well to keep it running. It’ll run on Android 4.2.2 and Windows 8.

LapTab also has 2MP front camera and 32GB of storage which can be expanded upto 64GB.

LapTab will be available across e-commerce portals and retail stores starting early February, 2014. There’s no mention of pricing yet.
