Micromax has launched their long awaited Canvas Turbo today. Canvas Turbo was first officially teased in the Hugh Jackman (who is now brand ambassador) starring teaser video. Canvas Turbo succeeds Canvas 4 and is truly a flagship phone unlike Canvas 4 which was a minor upgrade from Canvas HD.

Canvas Turbo comes with MediaTek MT6589T 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It features 5 inch Full HD (1080p) OGS (One Glass Solution) display which would offer better readability and viewing angles. It’s the first phone from any domestic maker to come in full aluminum chassis. With Canvas Turbo, Micromax has paid attention to the ‘Camera’ aspect of the phone as well. While it features the same 13MP camera on Canvas 4, it’s functionality is enhanced with new camera apps. Camera features 360 degree panorama, Cinemagraph to create animated GIFs and Object eraser to remove unwanted objects from the photos. Apart from that, Canvas Turbo also has features like ‘Look away to pause’ for videos and video pinning.

Canvas Turbo will feature 2000 mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage. It’ll run the Android Jellybean 4.2.1. Canvas Turbo A250 will come in White and Blue color. The phone is priced at Rs.19,990 and will start selling from October 26,2013.
