Microsoft Ups OneDrive Storage To 15GB,1TB For Office 365,Reduces Pricing


To make it’s cloud storage, OneDrive competent, Microsoft announced the increase in the cloud storage for its consumers. For sometime now, OneDrive for Business users have already enjoying 1TB of storage. General users of OneDrive will now get 15GB of online storage. Good thing about OneDrive storage is that your Outlook mail doesn’t eat into unlike Gmail and Drive combo. Office 365 users too will now get as much as 1TB of storage with their subscription. Currently Office 365 for Home costs $9.99/month and gives 1TB of storage per person, up to five persons. Whereas Office 365 Personal and University cost $6.99/month and $74.99/year respectively and allow 1TB of storage. For those who want added storage without Office 365 storage, Microsoft has reduced its storage rates significantly. Users can buy 100GB of storage for $1.99/mo (previously $7.49) and 200GB for $3.99/mo (previously $11.49). This new prices will come in effect from next for new subscribers while existing ones will be automatically transferred to new tariffs.
