Microsoft has outed its first ever laptop, but it wasn’t the only device under the Surface company that the company launched. As a yearly ritual, Microsoft also upgraded its tablet lineup with Surface Pro 4.
As you’d expect, Surface Pro 4 is 30% faster than its predecessor Surface Pro 3. Microsoft’s comparison showed it 50% faster than the MacBook Air. All thanks to Intel’s latest 6th gen Core processors that include core m3, Core i5 and Core i7.
It is slimmer as well with just 8.9mm of thickness. It features a 12.3-inch display with 2736×1824 resolution with pixel density of 267 PPI. The Surface Pen obviously works with Surface Pro 4. It also has an eraser mounted on its tail. SP4 Pro features magnetic storage for its pen.
Microsoft is also claiming whopping 9 hrs of video playback on a single charge. The battery life indeed makes Surface Pro 4 an interesting package.
Surface Pro 4’s pricing starts at $899, and the top of the line variant costs a whopping $2,599. Pre-orders are live, and it will start shipping from October 26.
