Nokia 710 on shelves now, coming to India in next 7 days

Nokia has announced that their second Lumia handset, Lumia 710 is now shipping in various in regions.  Nokia 710 has started shipping in less than half month after Nokia started shipping Lumia 800. From today onwards Nokia 710 will be first available in Taiwan and then in next ‘seven days’, yes you read it right, in next 7 days it’ll also become available in other markets like Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Russia and will continue hitting global markets as well.

It’s clearly seen that Nokia management has improved the company in many key areas. Company announced the Lumia series on 26th October and started shipping Lumia 800 immediately. And now they are also shipping second Lumia phone so quickly.

The Lumia 710 will be available for 270 EUR, excluding taxes and subsidies. It’s worth to mention that Lumia 710 uses the similar hardware as that of Lumia 800 like 1.4GHz Scorpion processor, 512 MB RAM and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango while camera is not 8 MP Carl Zeiss but 5 MP AF camera and display has also been replaced by 3.7″ WVGA TFT unit. But anyways it’s more mass market device than Lumia 800 so those who want that ‘Windows Phone on Nokia’ experience but do not want to spend too much Lumia 710 makes perfect sense.
