It looks like days of flashing factory ROMs at ones convenience will soon come to an end for Nokia enthusiasts. Right now it’s possible for individuals to download the firmware from Nokia’s servers and flash it on the phone without visting the service center, all thanks to Navifirm which made the job easy. The Nokia firmware is accessible for everyone and stores firmwares of all of their handsets. According to Symbian Developers, Nokia is considering blocking the access to its servers by the end of January by implementing the access control. After the deployment of the same; only secure download will be available which will be accessible only by the applications that support NOL log-in.

So the addicted modders and flashers grab all the firmware files as soon as you can and store them and share them  as well.
