During an event in Singapore, Nokia officially took the cover off Lumia 525, company’s latest mid-range handset. Lumia 525 is also the upgrade to the existing Lumia 520,cheapest Windows Phone handset yet which is also most popular one. On the exterior it’s the same old Lumia 520 but Nokia has upped the amount of RAM in Lumia 525 which gives it some advantages like the ability to install apps or games which are limited to 1GB devices only.
It features the same 4 inch IPS display with WVGA (480×800) resolution. It runs on 1GHz dual core Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM. There’s a 5 MP camera which is able to record 720p videos. It’ll run Windows Phone 8 and Nokia’s Lumia Black update for Lumia phones out of the box. Nokia will also be providing their imaging apps and HERE navigation suite.
Nokia Lumia 525 will start selling in Singapore from 14th December for the price tag of $199.
