Nokia earlier today announced their new Lumia phones at the ongoing MWC 2013. Not that it’s a total surprise to us. Indeed it was leaked just few hours before the official announcement but today we got the confirmation. The Lumia 720 features 6.7 MP camera (that’s odd and first time on mobiles). What surprises us is that it has f/1.9 lens which would make it possible to take stunning low light photographs. And it is 26mm wide. The phone is powered by Snapdragon S4 dual core 1.0 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. There’s 8GB memory onboard with option to put 64 GB memory card. It also has front facing HD quality wide angle lens for self portraits. It’ll also support wireless charging via special covers, same as Lumia 820.
Lumia 720 will come in five colors. It’s will retail arund 249 euros (~ $330). Lumia 720 rollout will begin from Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore in Q1 2013 while China as well as key markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and India are expected to receive it from Q2 2013.
