Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 With HD Display Launched In India

Samsung India has announced the latest iteration of their famous mid-range handset Galaxy Grand. Samsung has uplifted the various specs from original Grand. The Grand 2 now has 5.2 inch 720p HD screen. It is now powered by 1.2GHz Quad Core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. It will run on Android 4.3 JellyBean and Samsung has also ported its Multi Window feature.
The Galaxy Grand 2 gets new chassis too. The back of the phone features soft and textured-touch back cover and delicate stitching to its looks, similar to Galaxy Note 3. It is also slimmer and lighter at 8.9 mm and 163 gram.
Grand 2 will come equipped with 8MP AF camera and 2MP HD front facing camera. It has 8GB of internal storage and expandable upto 64GB with microSD card. Like its predecessor, Grand 2 also has dual SIM connectivity. Grand 2 has 2600 mAh battery which should last for 10 hours of video playback or 17 hours calls according Samsung.
The Galaxy Grand 2 will go on sale in January 2014 and Samsung has not confirmed the pricing yet although it has said that the handset will be priced between Rs.22,990 to 24,990. The GALAXY Grand 2 will be available in three colours – Black, White and Pink.
