Samsung Odyssey, the Windows Phone handset, which has been mysterious ever since Steve Ballmer talked about at Windows Phone 8 launch has finally made its first debut on Internet. Evleaks has managed to get what looks like a press photo of the device and posted it on their twitter account. Verizon is the first carrier which talked about it during their Windows Phone announcement but there was no more information about the handset except for its name and expected date of arrival as end of the year.
Samsung ATIV Odyssey (SCH-I930) for Verizon twitter.com/evleaks/status…
— @evleaks (@evleaks) November 12, 2012
The device in the leaked photos resembles the ATIV S and has similar metal back. The back also shows the big loudspeaker grill near the bottom and a camera with unknown numbers of megapixels along with flash is also present. The Verizon logo is also present on the front as well as the back of the device. It’s internal name is SGH-I930. Apperantly the device will also have microSD card slot and run on carriers 4G LTE network. There is no information about it’s specification as of now and whether this will be the rebranded ATIV S. Since nothing is confirmed as of now we advise you take this news with a pinch of salt but Evleaks has goo track record. We’re crossing our fingers.
