Sony has started the global rollout of its 2015 flagship Xperia Z3+ and India is one of the first markets to get it. Just for the reference, it was released in Japan few weeks back as Xperia Z4 and it’s being sold as Xperia Z4v on Verizon.
Xperia Z3+ features a Snapdragon 810 octa core processor and 3GB of RAM. The 5.2-inch display bears a FullHD (1080p) resolution. While the camera stays at 20.7MP, Sony has used a newer sensor, and it can record 4K videos as well.
In terms of design, Xperia Z3+ is thinner at 6.9mm and weighs just 144gms. There’s no change in the durability rating which remains at the same IP65/IP68. However, Sony has managed to make it fully capless including USB port as it now uses capless USB. It features a slightly lower 2930 mAh battery.
Those interested will need to shell out a whopping $880 (INR 55,990) to get hold of the Xperia Z3+.
