Sony has added yet another smartphone to its mid-range C series and successor to C4. Precisely it’s a phablet after a long time from Sony.

Sony-Xperia-C5-Ultra-min

Xperia C5 Ultra is the first Sony smartphone to feature 13 MP cameras on the rear as well as the front. It also has flash for the front camera. We have seen such a setup already on HTC Desire EYE. As the name suggests, Xperia C5 Ultra has a 6-inch display with an adequate FullHD (1080p) resolution. The good thing is Sony has gotten rid of thick bezels on its phones with C5 Ultra’s borderless display. It’s other components include MediaTek’s MT6752 615 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 2GB RAM.

There’s a striking imbalance between its specs and price as it costs a hefty $450 or INR 30,000 (India). So I’m skeptical about its sales performance.
