In a suprising news, Sony has launched its latest flagship, Xperia XZ, in India. This is barely within a month of its international unveiling. Sony Xperia XZ has come to India just in time for festive season.
If you don’t know already, the Sony Xperia XZ features a totally new camera. Although it has same 23MP module, it has two additional sensors to assist the camera. Xperia XZ is one of the first Sony phones to feature laser auto-focus. There’s another RGBC-IR sensor which detects color spectrum. It’s also the first phone to feature 5 axis video stabilization and can shoot 4K UltraHD videos. On the front it has a 13MP camera.
As for other specs, Xperia XZ has Snapdragon 820 and 3GB RAM. There’s a 2900 mAh battery, a 5.2 inch Full HD display and it also features the fingerprint sensor embeded right into the power button. It is also water resistant with IP65/68 rating. The Indian variant obviously features dual SIM support with 4G VoLTE.
If you’re looking to buy one, Sony’s best buy price is Rs.49,990 (~US $750). The pricing is similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 or LG G5. Pre-orders start on October 1st and end on 10th. Sony will be giving away Smartband Talk SWR30 on these pre-orders.
