Sony unveiled its flagship Xperia Z2 in the Indian market yesterday. Like few other recently launched flagships by other OEMs, Sony’s Xperia Z2 too is priced close to 50k or INR 49,990. Although it doesn’t need intro again and again, let’s have a look at what you get in the package.
For starters, Xperia Z2 is powered by Snapdragon 801 2.3GHz quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM. It features 5.2 inch FullHD TRILUMINOUS display with Color LED and X-Reality for mobile. Imaging is being taken care by a 20.7 MP camera with ExmorRS sensor, G Lens and BIONZ image processing engine. Its camera can do 4K video recording as well. All this goodness comes packed in Sony’s OmniBalance design. Xperia Z2 has IP55/58 dust-resistant and waterproof rating too. And there’s 3200 mAh battery as well too keep it going all day long.
For sometime now, Sony is giving newly launched SmartBand with Xperia Z2. There would be premium phone case too from Sony. This will be limited to initial sales only so you better get it before the offer ends. Apart from these two, Sony is also providing six months accidental damage protection and 2GB of free data on Vodafone.
Xperia Z2 will come in Black, Purple and White color variantions. The flagship handset will go on sale from 12th May 2014.
