The Mighty Lenovo K3 Note Gets Disruptive Pricing In IndiaJune 26, 2015
Looks like Lenovo has found the right formula to disrupt the markets. Especially in the Indian market it seems to have created to its fan following. The company has launched its new phablet for the Indian market. Sure has taken more time than expected to come here but apparently it’s worth the wait.
Lenovo has placed K3 Note in the sub $160 (INR 10K) segment in India but looking at its specs, it is going to punch a lot above its weight. It’s got a mighty MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor with all its cores running at 1.5GHz and 2GB RAM. The most distinctive feature is the FullHD (1080p) display of K3 Note which is nowhere to be found in this segment. It sets K3 Note apart from its competition. Lenovo is also throwing in a 3000 mAh battery, which has anyway become a norm for phablets. There’s a 13MP rear cam with dual LED flash and 5MP front camera. It also has dual SIM support with 4G LTE that is compatible with both the 4G bands in India.
Lenovo K3 Note will be offered in Black, White and Yellow colors. You’d be shelling out just INR 9,999 or $157 for K3 Note, which makes it ‘steal of a deal’ for sure. For reference, Lenovo is selling another phablet, A7000, for just Rs.1k less at Rs.9k. So in comparison K3 looks a lot better. This too will be sold on Flipkart exclusively through the flash sale, and the first sale will take place on July 8. Registrations have already opened and will remain so till July 7.
