If you’re someone who takes pride in calling yourself “adventurer” or “living life the on the edge”, you know the importance of rugged phones. Usually, such phones are given second class treatment. Thankfully enough, Samsung’s new phone carries all flagship specs in the rugged chassis. As you might have already guessed, it’s Samsung Galaxy S6 active.
While it retains the high-end processor and camera from its siblings, S6 and S6 edge, it trumps them with a massive 3500 mAh battery which also suits its profile.
It’s IP68 rated making it waterproof and dust resistant. Its casing is shock resistant, which should make you worry less if you work in extreme environments. The new skin has changed the looks of the phone completely, but you can tell its one solid device from its looks.
AT&T will be carrying it exclusively in the United States from June 12. It will cost $200 with a two year contract or $695 off-contract.
