Affordable Lumia 530 Is Headed To T-Mobile For $79

T-Mobile has always been an enthusiastic carrier with a good portfolio of Windows Phone devices. The carrier is adding Microsoft’s latest and cheapest Lumia 530 to its lineup. T-Mo already is currently selling Lumia 521 and Lumia 635 on its network. So the Lumia 530 sits between the two.

Although, the Lumia 530 is an upgrade over Lumia 521 in CPU as it has quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor compared to dual core S4 in the later, it drops key features like auto-focus camera, high-sensitivity touchscreen among others. As far as the raw performance is concerned, Lumia 530 will definitely have an edge over Lumia 521 due to powerful processor. It’s all about what side you prefer to choose. On the software side of the things, it runs Windows Phone 8.1 and U.S. folks can enjoy Microsoft’s voice assistant, Cortana in its full glory.

T-Mobile has been offering Lumia 5x series for real cheap for sometime now and so is the case with Lumia 530. It’ll cost you $79 to get this device. You’ll need to wait until October 15 when TMo starts selling this or you can get it from BestBuy and Microsoft Stores from October 5.
