Windows Blue’s leak appears, shows us some new features

Microsoft’s rumored next gen desktop operating system Windows Blue’s screenshots have been leaked online today. With Build number 9364, it’s the first legit source to confirm some upcoming features of ‘Windows Blue’. The site called ‘Windows9beta’ got this from their exclusive source. The build is said to be the part of Milestone 1 and as for now only the the 32bit version is available which is sized at only 2.63 GB. So it does not reveal all of the upcoming features of course.


According to some screenshots of this build we can confirm some new aspects of Windows Blue.

  • Small & Double standard¬†live tiles
  • More personalization in Start screen including new colors and designs
  • Multitasking with half split screen
  • Skydrive integration to the core
  • Internet Explorer 11
  • screen sharing
  • New system apps like Alarms, Daily plan, Movie moments, Sound recorder
  • Possibly Live Tile customization
