After a big price cut of Rs 4000/- for the Mi4, Xiaomi has now dropped the price of their sub 10k device Redmi Note by Rs 2000/- from Rs 9999/- to Rs 7999/-.

This move will definitely attract many more users to invest in a pretty decent device from Xiaomi at this price point. Redmo Note competes with devices like Moto G (2nd Gen), Honor 4x, Asus Zenfone 5 and few others in terms of their specs.

It will be interesting to see how it affects competitors like the Coolpad Dazen 1, Yu Yuphoria and the Lenovo A6000.
